This letter formation kit aims to help your child develop letter formations and understand each letter’s positioning on a line.

The kit contains 26 letter cards, a writing practice board and a story booklet.

In this kit, letters are divided into 4 different groups depending on how they are formed, namely, Magic Clock Letters, Diving Letters, Joker Letters and Stick Letters.

Each letter group is explained in a short little story in the booklet to help your child remember each letter group. The booklet also explains how different letters are positioned on a line describing them as either Owl, Giraffe or Monkey Letters. 

On the letter cards one of the letters is cut out of felt. There are arrows and prompts to follow the correct letter formation. The child first feels the shape of the letter with their finger. The same letter is repeated below which the child can then trace with a whiteboard marker. The card can be wiped clean with a damp cloth allowing the child to practice again and again.

Your child can practice writing words and sentences with a whiteboard marker on the writing board. Supporting lines help your child to keep their hand writing size consistent and to practice each letter’s positioning on a line. Again the board just wipes clean.
